These memes are hilarious if you understand their Disney references.

I used to hate it when I was a kid and I liked something and somebody would make fun of it. I felt personally attacked by satirical comics I'd read in Mad about The Lion King, or spoofs of my favorite cartoons. Because I didn't like that someone was implying that something I liked was dumb. Who are they to attack my personal taste?

I don't know why, maybe because I'm an adult, but my thoughts on spoofing the stuff I love has totally changed. If anything, satirical versions of my favorite TV shows, bands, movies, books, whatever, only make me appreciate them more.

So, as a kid who grew up on Disney, I can totally appreciate these memes that childhood Mustafa would've otherwise hated.
