Burnley landlady renames pub The Royal Dyche in honour of Clarets boss
SEAN DYCHE has his own pub after one was named after him in Burnley.
Dyche's name is above the door - well almost - of The Royal Dyche, formerly The Princess Royal, that is one of the closest boozers to Turf Moor.

Dyche, dressed in Henry VIII regalia, features on the traditional pub sign hanging proudly on the wall.
Boards outside the bar previously promised the Clarets' gaffer free drinks after keeping them in the Premier League.
But now he has taken Burnley into the Europe League after a top seven Prem finish things have moved to another level.
Landlady Justine Lorriman said: "We wrote an A-board saying that he could drink here for free when we gained another season in the Premier League.

"We then beat Stoke at home [in December] and went fourth.
"At the time it was a little joke and next thing you know it's all real."
As a brilliant season progressed the pub sent another A-board message to Dyche, saying:

"Sean, Get us into Europe and not only will you drink here for free... we will name this pub The Dyche."

And happened on Friday lunchtime with the official unveiling by Burnley legend Rocky, a live band and free pie and peas.
Burnley FC marked the event with an apt tweet saying simply "Cheers!"
There was, by the way, already a bottle bar in the boozer named "Sean's Shack."
